Product Use Description
The main purpose:
1. Determination of zinc, calcium, silicon and titanium.
2. Synthetic caffeine, epinephrine, aminoacetic acid, naphthalene acetic acid. Manufacture of various dyes.
3. Rust remover.
4. It is used in the preparation of pesticides and as intermediates in organic synthesis.
5. Used as an acidulant for starch adhesives.
6. It is an intermediate for dyes, medicines, pesticides, synthetic resins and other organic synthetic materials.
7. It is used in the production of indigo dyes in the dye industry.
8. Chloroacetic acid is also an important carboxymethylating agent, used to prepare sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, etc., and also used as a non-ferrous metal flotation agent and a chromatographic analysis reagent, etc.
Storage method
Chloroacetic acid is packed in polypropylene woven bags lined with double-layer plastic bags. During transportation, it should be protected from direct sunlight, moisture and damaged packaging. It should be stored in a cool, ventilated and dry place, away from fire and heat sources, and should be stored separately from oxides, alkalis, flammables and other items. The shelf life at room temperature is one year, and it is not suitable for long-term storage under high temperature in summer.
